HP HP-P550 Voucher

Dave Shaun "Digital_Guru" (chicago, il) : Th hp735 is an good value for a 3.2MP camera. The image quality surpassed my expecations for an HP camera. The sharpness and contrast has never been an issue. The color seems to be on the blue side and a little under-saturated. But as long as I have a sharp picture, I can deal with tint and saturation in pretty much any software.
If you're starting out with a new digital camera, the HP735 is an excellent value for the price. The shutter to shot, shot to shot and turn-on time is slow but tolerable. The beginner photographer will enjoy this camera.

J. Luna (Seattle, USA) : Even when the blurriness wasn't there, the pictures were grainy and the colors just didn't look very good. I took many test pictures and compared them to the old pictures I took using my Canon S110 - there just wasn't any comparison: The Canon pix looked way better than the HP's.
I'd say try it out in a store if you're thinking about this camera to make sure it's what you want - you apparently have to mess around with the controls a lot - which I didn't have to do on my old Elph S110 to get good quality pictures.

Robin Ringer (Stockholm, Sweden) : Almost every reviewer has complained about short lifetime with alkaline batteries. This is because you are NOT suppoused to use these! It says so explicitly in the manual. If you get rechargable batteries the camera works for several days before you need to recharge.

HP Webcam HD-2200 Voucher

Tomas MF : I've gotten this camera for Xmas and I am attached to it. It takes great pictures in 3 different formats and has a video option as well (you can record pretty nice videos too).
It's really easy to use, and the USB plug & play feature for connecting to any PC is awesome since you do not need to have the special software installed, thus enabling to download the photos in every computer (especially handy when you are traveling and do not carry with you your own) and emailing them.
I have heard about "swallowing batteries" by a hundred, but the time I have had the camera, I only needed to change batteries once and before running out of them it kept on warning me about it.
I am truly happy about it.

W. Paul W. "Paul White" (Amarillo, TX) : The pictures on the higher settings are as good as one can expect from a camera in this price range; they don't compete with the 5 megapixel deals, but what do you expect? They're more than good enough for email or photo work on your PC; I blew a photo up to use as my desktop (on a 17" flatscreen) and it was still photo quality.
The video and audio capabilities are neat, but I don't use them; just have no reason. Also, they seem to eat the batteries. They do work though, and are surprisingly decent (of course, they do not compete with a camcorder).
The interface is easy to figure out, and the camera is easy to use. For most of us, it takes photos as good or better than we'll need.
The only complaint I've heard is that it eats batteries, but so long as I stay away from the video and audio features it doesn't seem to to so badly; they'll last more than the 10 pictures or so that other people mention. I've taken more than 40 pictures since I've gotten it, as well as a 2 minute video (which killed the first set of batteries), and I'm only on my second set. Just buy rechargables.

Lorien Cox : This is my second digital camera. My first (canon) turned up missing. We believe our 20 month old daughter may have tossed it in the trash. Even she knew that it was garbage..LOL! So we replaced and definately upgraded to this HP. I LOVE IT!! I take a ton of pictures between my 2 babies and selling on ebay and I couldn't be happier. The pics are crisp and clear, and you have so much control with all the manual settings. Yes, there is a delay from the time you push the button to the time the pic is actually taken but that is because it is focusing. All digitals have some kind of delay. If you are taking action pics you can manually set it for such but the quality won't be real great. If you want great quality, action pictures you are gonna need to spend a heck of a lot more than 200 on a camera, or better yet use a regular one and have the pics put on disk. I compared every single camera in this price range in person, online, and asked around to see what people had to say and I think I found the best. If you go to best buy, walmart,whatever...pick up each camera and look at it closely you can definately tell which ones are better quality, and this is definately a great quality camera. Buy this one you won't be disappointed!

HP F200 Full HD 1080p Voucher

David Campbell "dssoup" (Hershey, PA) : For the money this is a great machine. The lens is sharp, colors are well saturated, and everything on the camera actually works. This little guy has rekindled my old interest in photography, and it is possible to take this camera out and come back with hundreds of reasonable pictures. My bags full of high-end 35mm are likely to gather more dust. The optional 8881 dock works well, and the HP photoshare feature allows encoding email address targets or printing instructions on the camera for automatic download/print/email sharing when docked. Standard AA batteries (only two) and generic storage expansion are appreciated. Buy an extra few high capacity NiMH batteries on your own and you will be able to shoot all day long. Moderate resolution setting and a 256 MB SD card will keep you busy for over two hundred shots with very reasonable resolution.

"pc_prntr" (Tallahassee, Florida United States) : I owned HP's photosmart 315 camera for the last 3 years and decided to upgrade to the HP 735 and WOW! am I glad I did.
This is one fine 'automatic' camera and I am having loads of fun with it. They really thought this one out well. I also bought the 'dock' and it is making my life with this new camera so much easier. It recharges my batteries without taking them out of the camera and it hooks up to my TV to view my photos there if I wish.

glen peltz (Laguna Woods, CA United States) : More functional is the capture menu, not the easiest to locate and manipulate when you want to modify a shooting mode, but helpful when an artistic effect is desired. Items from the Capture Settings Menu that I use; The White Balance feature is good to be aware of, for example, If I shoot in the shade mode, even in bright daylight,I don't worry about backlighting. I also like the Saturation feature, nature can be Psychidelic. I leave all the other options to the default (auto) mode. I skip things like EV Compensation, although well laid out in the manual, it is too much to recall on the verge of a picture, the default (auto) mode will take a good picture.

HP PhotoSmart 433 Voucher

Becca (Wisconsin) : I previously owned a Canon Powershot A100, and I am so much happier with the HP Photosmart M517! This camera is ideal for novice photographers and experts alike! The user's manual is very easy to follow and understand, and the camera functions are extremely simple to use. I am very pleased with the picture quality, and had gorgeous pictures even on the very lowest image quality settings! This camera is worth every penny I paid for it, and I'd highly recommend it! It's definitely a superb quality camera!

Amazoner (Alexandria, Virginia USA) : This camera is best among its class. The LCD displace is so brigh and high resolution. All buttons are very well organized so easy to use. Special flash recycle so fast and strong makes the shooting indoor and dark area an experience. The software menu is so easy to reach. I got SLR Pentax Digital Camera before, but can't tell the difference in picture quality.

SavvyShopperMom (Maine, USA) : I purchased this camera printer combo for my daughter's 16th birthday. The price was unbeatable. The camera has a ton of features, and the pictures are beautiful, and crystal clear. The printer is tiny and portable, great for a teenager, and it hooks up easily to the TV to view/edit/print the photos. She was able to print pictures of her party for her friends to take home with them.

Great camera and printer for the price! And Amazon customer service is first rate! Shipping was super, super fast and when I needed help with a rebate for this item, customer service was very efficient and polite. A+!

HP Photosmart M517 Voucher

Deanna Freehauf "lovethelake" (Lemont, IL USA) : I am a Grandma and not very adept at figuring out new fangled cameras expecially with printers. The printer is VERY easy to use and it's been nice when grandkids and friends come to our vacation house-we take many pictures and can send relatives and friends home with as many photos as they want. No going to the store to get them developed! A wonderful advantage to this camera/printer set! The printer has an included electric cord, or you can purchase a battery to run the printer without electricity. This camera takes several different quality photos depending what you set the "MPs" at. Even I learned how to set the MPs! The greater the "MPs," the clearer resolution of your photo. This model M517 goes from 3MPs to 5.2MPs, but I found that the lower MPs take VERY acceptable quality pictures. The higher the MPs, the less pictures your camera memory will hold before you'll need to delete some if you want to take more photos

Andre R. Cavalcanti "A.R.C." (CA, United States) : I got this camera a few days ago and I must say that I am very, very satisfied. The price is great for a 5 megapixel, it is easy to use, very user-friendly. Its size is perfect: very small. The 2" screen is wonderful and the pictures this camera takes are surprisingly good. It comes with an internal 32 Mb memory, but I got a 1 Gb SD memory card. This memory card can store 618 pictures(5 megapixel) and more than 300 pictures at 5 megapixel best mode. It also comes with a rechargeable NiMH battery and an AC adapter to recharge it. I think HP should also include in the whole package a case for the camera, once there is none in the box. Finally, I am not sorry at all for having bought it...

Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 Voucher

Adam D. Shomsky (Detroit, MI USA) : One thing you may or may not be aware of is the amount of light required to shoot high speed video. High speed video, by definition, requires very fast shutter speeds. You must use at least 1/300th, 1/600th, or 1/1200th shutter speed to shoot 300, 600, or 1200 frames per second, respectively. Basically that means you need very bright lights or daylight. I can shoot 300 fps indoors with the aperture wide open at ISO 400 using 600W of light pointed directly on the subject. Anything less than that and your video will come out dark and/or grainy. See my youtube video on the subject called "Casio EX-F1 noise level test": [...]

Skaven252 (Finland) : The key features in this camera are its overall versatility and its much touted high speed video. In fact, at the time of writing this article, this is the only consumer level digital camera that can do this (some HD video cameras, such as Samsung VP-HMX20C also have this feature, but with take length limitations). Mind you, the high speed video can only be done in limited resolution. At top speed of 1200 frames per second, the resolution drops to 336 × 96, which looks like viewing the action through a half-closed letterbox. As the shutter speed is high, you will also need plenty of light. Indoor lighting won't do at 1200fps, you will need daylight. At 300 fps the resolution is 512 × 384, which is OK for Youtube. Actually, if you're looking for sample videos, try searching Youtube for "EX F1".

Chuckiebuckets : I wanted a high speed camera to troubleshoot machine problems at work. After much research, I found this Casio EX-F1, seems to be the only pro-sumer high speed video camer available under $14,000. After more research, found that this camera came out in 2008 for $1000(haven't figured out why it sells for $2800 now)and they discontinued it in 2010. There wasn't much info available in using this in a factory environment, but I decided to spend the $2800 vs. $14000. I also bought a seperate light, which is really needed if shooting faster than 300 fps. Like other reviewers have noted, the resolution at 600 fps was not great, but, after the first troubleshooting session, I was able to find our problem and correct it. The price was well justified with just this one incident. I haven't tried out any other features of this camera since I only needed it for the high speed video. As long as you don't need a higher resolution, I would recommend this camera. Pretty fun to play with also. I really hope that Casio or another manufacturer will come out with an updated version that would still be available at pro-sumer prices.

HP M737 Voucher

P. Wendleton (kansas city, mo) : When I bought this camera I hadn't been looking for a new digital camera for very long, my old one was really nice but it was bulky and outdated...I liked that this camera was small but not too tiny, it was a really good value...an 8mp w/ lots of extras for under $130!! ( even the HP home site couldn't compare with Amazon's deal + free shipping )and overall it seemed pretty idiot proof... ( I am completely challenged when it comes to electronics ) When I got it I was so excited to try it out...I took it to my daughter's dance watch night and with the video feature recorded her dance numbers ( with the extra SD memory card I bought ) It was very easy to upload the video and pictures I took onto the computer using the software it came with...I even figured out how to email all of it to out of town realatives without being reduced to tears! I would absolutely buy this camera again and would recommend it to anyone, the only suggestion that I have would be to get either a set of good rechargable batteries or lithium ion batteries...they may cost more now but they are well worth it...also, investing in an extra memory card or two is probably a good idea if you plan to use your camera a lot...I got a 2GB memory card on Amazon for $5 !! You won't find a better deal then that anywhere !!

C. Briggs "Cindyssmilin" (VA) : This camera is great. I am a huge HP Camera fan. This is my 3rd one (I upgrade every 3 Megapixels once they go on sale). It is easy to use and makes beautiful pictures.
I am a picture a holic. I constantly take pics of my niece and nephews. This camera has held up with the excessive use and pics are as beautiful now as before. The different shoot modes allow you to get just the right lighting and exposure for any situation. The fact that you can edit the photos directly in the camera is great. Especially if you are using one of the gogo HP printers.
The manual recommends lithium batteries and they work the best. I got about 4 hours of heavy picture taking out of the alkaline and about 7 out of rechargable. The lithium last about 3 days of very heavy picture taking.

intanet (New York) : Camera takes beautiful pictures. Crisp and clear. The automatic lighting feature is great. I took pictures in my living room at night and they were clear and bright. But with the 16mb internal memory, if you have the settings to good quality photo taking (8mp), it can only hold a few photos in memory (8 pictures I think). I also got the camera for the video feature. Problem was, it can only take a 13 second video with the 16 mb of internal memory. Had to get a card. Luckily, they were on sale too so I got a 4GB card the next day. Now I can take 51 minutes of video. And the sound was very surprising. Of course the camera doesn't have speakers so you can't hear the sound till you upload the video to your PC. And I can store over 1000 pictures now.
